Talking about the "things that matter most" on Feb. 1

Live From Ave Maria University in Ave Maria, FL

4:00 - Caught on Tape: Planned Parenthood Enthusiastically Aids Pimp’s Underage Sex Ring / To Live and Die in Philadelphia: An Abortionist’s House of Horrors.
On the heels of the March for Life, Lila Rose and Live Action Films have release an undercover video of a Planned Parenthood manager in New Jersey coaching a man and a woman posing as sex traffickers on how to secure secret abortions, STD testing, and contraception for their female underage sex slaves, and make their whole operation “look as legit as possible.” We talk to Lila about the operation and Jody Bottom also joins us to look at the grisly case of Kermit Gosnell the Philadelphia abortionist who is now charged with numerous counts of murder.

4:20 – The Risk of the Muslim Brotherhood Filling a Power Void in Egypt
As hundreds of thousands of Egyptians took to the streets today in the largest demonstrations yet, many, including the US and Israel, fear the possibility of the Muslim Brotherhood filling the power gap should Hosni Mubarak be toppled. Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch is here to discuss the tenuous situation in Egypt.

4:40 – Ave Maria Foundation for the Arts
The west coast of Florida has Venice and Naples. Officials at Ave Maria University are hoping that their efforts to support creation of public art on the campus and the town will make it what AMU President Nick Healy called "the Florence of Florida." Support of those efforts will be led by a new organization, the Ave Maria Foundation for the Arts, led by Michael Windfeldt. Windfeldt says said that the organization is inspired by Pope John Paul II's 1999 letter to artists, in which the pontiff wrote that "in order to communicate the message entrusted to her by Christ, the Church needs art."He joins us.

5:00 – Hitler, The War and The Pope
Was Pope Pius XII a Nazi Sympathizer? For almost 50 years, a controversy has raged about Pope Pius XII. Was the Pope who had shepherded the Church through World War II a Nazi sympathizer? Was he, as some have dared call him, Hitler's pope? Did he do nothing to help the Jewish people in the grips of the Holocaust? Ronald Rychlak has gotten past the anger and emotion and uncovered the truth about Pius XII. Not only does he refute the accusations against the Pope, but for the first time documents how the slanders against him had their roots in a Soviet Communist campaign to discredit him and by extension, the Church. He joins us.
